About us

For this reason, since the day we heard it, we have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may lead lives worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, as you bear fruit in every good work and as you grow in the knowledge of God.
— Colossians 1

God’s revelation: Every Good Work

God made us to do good work, but we often leave our spirituality at the door of our workplace. The church, in practice if not in preaching, thinks that we need to extract ourselves from work in order to move forward in discipleship. Jesus invites us to be his workplace apprentices, learning to do our work with him and as he would do it.

Our vocation: Unceasing Prayer

To bring life to this revelation, we seek to:

  • To form a collected and distributed community of prayerful worker-disciples.

  • To prophetically experiment with, and give voice to, a fulsome spirituality, rooted deeply in the spiritual disciplines, that integrates contemplation and action within, and related to, our work.

  • To pray for, encourage, and support “worker-disciples” in their own calling to see their work as a means of apprenticeship to Jesus, transforming the heart and growing in the life of the kingdom among us.

Our ways of being: Living LIves worthy of The Lord

It is the ‘habits of the heart’ that teach us about the Jesus type of life in the workplace. We choose to cultivate:

  • Generosity in the face of greed

  • Diligence in the face of constant toil

  • Humility in the face of pride

  • Contentment in the face of envy

  • Patience in the face of frustration
